I am 40 and he is 51; he always tells me to go look for someone else. all I want is affection. does he want me?

Since a year ago I been putting up with this verbally and mentally abusive; man whom loves how I make him feel intimately but has not yet ever been able to be more touchy, more tender, more loving, and does not even try to be the first one to start intimacy, or kissing or anything; I am tired of being the only one showing the affection. when I mentioned he gets like a ***** stops talking to me for days on end says I should go find someone else; because all I do is complain. Instead of sitting there like a man and saying we can work at it; or something. I mean Cheez man he is older and I am all over him. so does he really mean; what he says?
