Why don't players who flop get banned for the next game (upon review)?

Flopping in basketball is really insane. I've been following the finals and I saw Lebron and Dwayne Wade flop on several occasions. LeBron actually had a big flop in game 4 where he didn't get touched and Wade just falls down all the time anyway. So why can't they ban players for the next game who get caught cheating like that? They do that in many other sports. Why is this flopping ok in the NBA?
