Yes, I definitely do think church would be a good place for meeting someone special. Church is a more likely place where you can find someone with the same values, but don't completely avoid trying to find someone outside of church. To give you an example, I myself value much of what others would take for granted. I try to avoid people and situations that might harm others or myself. I don't drink, do drugs or disrespect anyone that does. All that said, I have not gone to church since I was 11 (i'm 19), but I do try to have an exciting life. If you search for someone in your church, you will most likely find someone who has the same core values as you do. But I stress that you not completely turn away from finding someone outside of church. Church is not the only place you can find sincere and honest people. You never know, there might be someone in your school that has the same opinions as you do.

Well, I can't say it's worse than soccer. Soccer has the worst floppers possible. I see the ball kicked, no contact to the person and they fall to the ground holding their leg screaming. On my right ear the anti helix/rook area hurts a lot. I don't have a piercing and never had one there so it's nothing to do with piercings. It feels sore and tender. Iam supposed to contact the Customer Care Representative Chris Chandler at the prize distribution department for additional information on processing of your claim and activation of the check enclosed at 1-604-773-4790 with your entry claim code for verification as soon as you receive this notification to avoid any delays and forfeiting of unclaimed prize funds. The letter also has logos on it from Target, Macy's, Sears, etc., and is signed John Martins- Prize Award Administrator and has a phone and fax number. This is a scam, right? I found a large lump in my breast that is getting bigger...?

A few months ago I noticed a rather large lump near the top of my right breast. I have recently lost about 50 lbs and thought maybe the change in shape could just be from weight loss. I also considered that since I had been working out that maybe it was just muscle that had developed. The lump has seemed to grow in size and is now a little bigger than a golf ball. At times it is tender to the touch and feels much different than my left breast. I know I should go to the Dr but I currently don't have insurance. I start a new job with medical benefits in a couple of months and was hoping to put off a Dr's visit until then. Back of foot swollen and tendon tender, why?

So I have been on my feet a lot today, and I wore flip flops to work. Well when I got home I noticed that the back of my left foot hurt, like the achilles tendon area when I pointed my foot up or bent my knees. My right foot is fine. I then looked at my ankle and noticed on the outside of my foot between my tendon and my ankle bone it is swollen and puffy, not too bad but enough that you can tell. My tendon also still hurts and hurts when I rest it on the recliner or on my other leg. I do not remember bumping anything. I was on my feet a lot today at work because we were busy and I work in sales. I currently have an ice pack on it and will take an epsom salt bath a little later. Could this just be cause by being on my feet in flip flops? Or did I do something to my foot?

CatSitting...cat acting strange. HELP?

So me and my roommates are watching a friend's cat and she's acting strange. Last week I started getting crampy pain in my left ovary area. I checked my calendar, and it was right around ovulation, so I didn't think anymore about it. Foster Care with PCHA for 15 yr old bi-polar Granddaughter?

After having my Granddaughter, Camille, for most of her life, my health is now forcing me to consider foster care for her. This is breaking my heart as I love her so but I am just not able to control her any more. She is rebellious & just refuses to do anything I ask. She recently just took my car (I was in bed due to health), then had an accident & left the scene. She is also sexually active with 3 boys already & has admitted to doing drugs. She also failed school this yr after being an A-B student before. She sees a psychiatrist & all his recommendations as well as from family & friends is that I need to put her somewhere where she will be supervised & learn that she must be respectful to authority. I have heard about the Presbyterian Children's Homes but have not yet heard any comments about it--whether good or bad. I know that I must do something especially since school is out & I know that each day is going to be a battle. Unfortunately, Camille gets extremely angry when she doesn't get her way & she leaves any time she wants. She is much larger than I am now so physically, I can't restrain her & what hurts the most is that she has no respect for me & in fact, just mocks me usually. I would appreciate any recommendations about PCHA or any other program. I love her regardless & it's hard for me to even think of letting her go but I know that would be the best thing to do for her. I would love for her to be gone for a few month or even a yr or two..I just feel that unless I intervene now, she just miight stay on the wrong path which could untimately destroy her life. She is bi-polar which is very difficult to deal with but she is on medication & when I make sure she takes it, it works extremely well. It is just getting her to take it. In terms of worship service, what would be the difference in presbyterian, methodist, baptist or non-demontial/ chrisitan? If God is forgiving why are some souls condemned for eternity? I can understand temporarily, I can understand the idea of purgatory, but why eternity? What I'm wondering, is how Christianity got mixed up into so many different "branches", so to speak. I get that there was corruption in the Church in historical times. But it seems like there are too many different ways of practicing Christianity. It isn't enough to say you're a Christian. You're a Protestant, or a Baptist, or Presbyterian, or Catholic. I'm not trying to bomb the religion, but if the Bible states how to practice Christianity, shouldn't the religion be more unified? How did the King get away with bending the rules because he wanted to divorce his wife? He created his own religious group, how is that allowed? I'm just confused as to why it isn't one big group of followers, and why different groups fight with each other.

I believe that a true church can be two or people who gather in the name of Christ regardless of what denomination they call themselves. Yes, there are churches that add a bunch of extra things or interpret the Bible in a way that most Christians would disagree with. If anyone believes that Jesus is Lord though and makes an effort to treat others as they would wish to be treated, I recognize them as a fellow Christian.

Swollen lump, hurts really bad?

There is a swollen lump in the crease of where my thigh and vagina meet. It's very painful, and I have no idea what it is. I've looked up possible diagnoses online, the only things I could find that come close to it was a cyst. Left ovary pain for a week?

Last week I started getting crampy pain in my left ovary area. I checked my calendar, and it was right around ovulation, so I didn't think anymore about it. It has now been a week since the left ovary pain started. It started as a crampy feeling, then was hurting just walking around. Now I have notice that it doesn't always hurt, but I can feel it there if that makes sense. Also, if I'm laying on my back I can feel that it is still bothering me. And if I press around in that area it is tender to the touch. I am aware of ovulation pain which I have had in the past, but never for this long as it has now been a week. Isn't it terribly arrogant of people to impose their own faith (or lack thereof) on their children?

Parents teach their children as best they can. When the children reach adulthood they are capable of making their own decisions on this front. God gave us all brains. As parents we do our best to teach our children how to use them. Some people get upset when their children exercise their free will. I actually enjoy seeing it. It means we as parents have done our job. If we are good at listening, we can often learn a lot from our children.

I don't think that point is worth leaving. While intentional termination of life for convenience sake is unthinkable, choosing the life of a mother over the life of the baby causing complications is a reason that can be reconciled when you consider that we are weak and often faithless. God knows this and judges the inward intents. It may be too legalistic to have a zero tolerance on anything that could contain gray areas that we can't speak clearly on.

What should I do if my church's stance on homosexuality is making me want to leave?

I have been going to a real nice Eastern Orthodox Church and was really enjoying it, until the priest made several strong worded comments about the Presbyterian Church (USA) voting to allow homosexuals the right to hold clergical positions (such as minister). I have no issue with the Church not allowing gay men to hold positions of authority, but his e-mails he sent us and even his Facebook went far beyond the issue at hand. My problem is that I have no issue with homosexuality (my roommate is a gay man) and I understand that homosexuality is biological and can't be changed. I feel this deeply hurts me and is a rehash of the bigotry I heard growing up in churches. I have considered leaving, but not too sure yet. Any thoughts?

Cervical cancer jab .. aching muscles & swollen arm?

I know its the possible side effect but what can I do about the muscles? I feels like when you've gone for a long run or worked out for a while , but the thing is I just sit down and my legs go all stiff. I've had all three now and my third one was yesterday. Hi I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the matter, me and my husband have been ttc for a few months now, and I do know its a long bumpy road as have already got a 3 1/2 yr old girl, but this month things seem different, we have had sex every other day from 2days after the end of my period, but during the month my boobs seem bigger, tender nipples (nipples not so tender now), and bloated tummy (my tummy bloated like this before I found out we were expecting our little girl), the last couple of days I have had a little bit of whiwhitishscharge and yesterday it was brownish, but also I was ment to start my period yesterday, I done a HCG urine pregnancy test this morning but nothing, not even a faint line, how much longer should I wait to try the test again or is there another type of pregnancy test to do? I did have a appointment with doc this morning for blood test but when i got there they said she is off ill and earliest appointment is the 6th july. What do you all think and recomend?

Hi, so I have tried asking this on 3 other forums (WebMD, a pregnancy one, and ehealth) and NO ONE will even answer. I don't have any one to talk to because I just moved 600miles away from home....I am possibly just worrying too much and my boyfriend has gotten this into my head of being pregnant. I am 20, and living with my boyfriend. I have been on Gianvi (Yaz generic) for 2 months now. We are sexually active, and don't use a back up method of birth control. I know, not the smartest, but we also wouldn't mind having a baby if it happens. For 2 weeks now I am nauseated every time I try to eat, so I'm ALWAYS hungry but at the same time I eat a few bites and feel like I stuffed myself. Every night starting around 8pm it gets worse and as the later it gets, especially worse when I try to go to sleep, but have not actually thrown up. Sorry for this bit of info, but I have had to pee a lot, been a little constipated and very gassy (sorry!) We eat the same as we always have. I cook and we never eat fast food. Starting yesterday it is tender and hurts around my nipples, and my veins are more pronounced. I am also pretty moody. I don't know my ovulation days because my pills messed me up and I had a 6 day period, 2 days off, and another 4 day period. I am expecting the next within a week or so, so I can't really test yet. I didn't have any of these issues in my first month of using the pill, so why would it just now set in? My boyfriend isn't mad if I am....he is actually very excited and supportive. The main reason I am even on the pill is because my PMDD causes horrible cramps and irregular cycle, so this is to help with those things. My mom started getting sick the day after she conceived me, so early signs wouldn't be unusual.

Epididymytis from vasectomy?

I had a vasectomy about 1 year ago and everything was working fine, but now, a couple days ago, my left testicle is VERY tender and it hurts unless I support it. Literally, the tenderness sucks really bad. Also, I might be paranoid, but the left one feels like it is a little swollen...infection perhaps? Epididmytis? I have no idea. it may be possible, when i found out i was pregnant i had missed my period and was a week late, my boobs hurt pretty bad, and i was extremely exhausted. having spotting while pregnant is something that can occur, i have a friend who had her "period" well into her 7th month of pregnancy due to a low-lying placenta. your friend may just be psyching herself out since she didn't use a condom and is just being paranoid. she should wait and see if her period seems normal and lasts the average amount of days it normally does. if her body still feels different after a week or 2 have her take another test.

I have been having unprotected sex with my partner for some time now and for the last two times this week, it had been painful to my female region. i have NEVER experienced this pain before, but i wanted to know if i could be pregnant. ive been told that in some cases sex is painful in early stages. I always get sore boobs before my period but if you get your period and it finishes and you still have sore boobs just pop to your doctor to get them checked over, it is likely to just be hormonal but always better to be safe than sorry!

Graduation Party Etiquette?

okay so normally eveyones graduation parties are just simple backyard bbqs with a few family and friends and a cold hot dog. but for my gradutaion party im going alll out and im having a dj and catered food from manhattan and lounge furniture and waiters and bar tenders and 120 people. okay so i have a group of 12 friends who are all graduating and we are all really close but only 4 of us are having grad parties. so one of the girls who are having a party decided to tell everyone that no one is exchanging gifts bc were all just gunna get it back at each others grad parties, which is saying oh im not gunna get u a weddig present bc eventually youll just get me one. so i mean thats fine but i told them that it was a little rude bc ive spent months planning this and trying to make everything perfect for everyone and i was taught that it is rude to show up to someones house with nothing. i have already gone out and bought each of the girls who r having parties gifts like cute things for their dorms. i think its rude to show up to someones house with nothing but im not gunna walk into their backyard bbqs with theses amazing gifts if they show up to my extremely expensive party with nothing. i hope i dont sound like a brat but it hurts my feelings to know that my good frends have no manners. when somone opens up their home u bring something like dessert or flowers right? let me know what you think please :)

This is a hard one, I really like both. i remember being like 8 when I first saw the Mighty Duck movies and absolutely fell in love with them ;) on the other hand I watched Slap Shot a few months ago and it's so funny! I also enjoy the striptease at the end, but that goes without saying ;) Also my fave head coach (brucie) is in it, so that Just gives it ten points off the bat. Should we baptize our children?

If its that important to him, I'd let them get baptized. Just because they are baptized doesn't mean they are forced to follow that religion. When they are older, they can be confirmed if they want to stay Presbyterian, or they can choose not to be confirmed and follow whatever beliefs they want. I had my children baptized because that was important to me, but whether or not they follow through with being Methodist will be completely up to them
